Colt returns to the Hawkridge Mountains with Orchid the half-goblin, Anthony the lightning mage, and Aephyr, the sword-dwelling dryad in tow to hunt for the ruins of Fort Hawkridge and the treasure Colt’s grandfather is said to have hidden away. Local talk is that the mountain swallowed Fort Hawkridge when Colt’s grandfather stole the mountain’s name for his family. Colt doesn’t believe it for a heartbeat, but the call of gold, glory, and adventure is enough to make him risk the mountain’s wrath to clear his grandfather’s name.
