Awakened Bk 1, Destined Bk 2, & Untamed Bk 3

A little confused? Brenda K. Davies is Erika Stevens. So if you like these and Brenda's other books, you need to head over to Erika Stevens page. It is a sad story. Erika and Steven were friends of her that passed so she uses her own name and their names as a pen name.

So I have All three books. Book one Awakened, I got free on kindle. I loved it so much, I ordered all three of these in Paperback. I loved the second one just as much and am ready to finish reading the third. The only thing I found a bit odd with this series, is the vampires are having children. But if you can look past that, it makes for a very interesting series.

These books I recommend for adults. They are a bit too steamy for teenagers to be reading. If you love vampire romance books, I recommend this series.

Book 1 Awakened: Traumatized by her past relation ship with a boy, and struggling to move on from it, Sera has spent the past three years of college hiding herself from the world and content to stay that way. A chance encounter with Liam shatters her sheltered world, leaving her stunned and shaken by the strange feelings and emotions he arises in her, feelings she never thought she would experience and that frighten her in their intensity. She is content to stay sheltered amongst her family, hidden away as she lives out her days away from the human race, and the world. Despite her determination to remain alone, her world is rocked when a person from her parent’s past arrives at their door, bringing with them the powerful, and stunning vampire Stefan. Though Stefan is not expecting to arrive at a nest full of vampires, he is immediately drawn to the vibrant, often defiant, and willful Isabelle. To his surprise, Isabelle does everything in her power to avoid him, and her desire for him. No matter how hard she tries to fight it though, Isabelle begins to realize that trying to deny her destiny may just destroy them both, as there are some things that cannot be stopped. But just as she begins to let her guard down, Stefan’s dark and deadly past catches up to him and threatens to destroy them both. 

Book 3 Untamed: I have not finished reading yet. I don't want to read into it and spoil anything for myself. I will add more info when I finish the book.

The Faerie Guardian (Creepy Hollow Book 1)

The Best thing about the Kindle version, It's FREEEEE!!!! It is Also available in Paperback. Out of 306 reviews, it averages 4.5 stars. This is book 1 of 3 in the series. 

I love this book. I managed to read the whole book in one day. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series. I love how you get to follow more than one character and read how they are truly feeling instead of just assuming what the are thinking. I recommend it to teenage girls for sure and all other young adult faerie book lovers. It is a very interesting book with a little romance thrown in. 

Protecting humans from dangerous magical creatures is all in a day's work for a faerie training to be a guardian. 17 year old Violet Fairdale knows this better than anyone. She is about to become the best guardian the Guild has seen in years. That is, until Nate, a human boy who can somehow see through her faerie glamour follows her into the Fae realm. Now she has accidentally broken a Guild Law. A crime that could lead to her expulsion.

She falls for Nate. She even continues to break the laws to try to help him find out what happened to his mother. In the end, Nate betrays her and has her leaning towards the arms of Ryn. An old childhood friend who later became her foe.

But you must read this book and the others to find out how Nate was able to go into the fairy world. Also, what becomes of Violet and Ryn?

Haunting Lia A Novel

I love this book. I highly recommend it to teenage girls. It is very interesting, well written, and keeps you reading more wondering what's going to happen next. Great Paranormal book with a dab of romance. 

Lia was an orphan and had been tossed around in the system until she was given a loving foster home along with Chelsea, another orphan. They instantly bonded and deemed themselves blood sisters.

Lia has always seen monsters but this is a secret that she never tells Chelsea who goads her into going thru a haunted house at a fair. Not a good idea... As Lia runs out screaming, she smacks right into Aiden, a stuck-up prep boy too good looking for his own good. That was not a good start for their relationship.

Lia and Chelsea leave the fair and have a flat tire on the way home. As Lia attempts to change the flat tire, two cars crash, one hits Chelsea and takes her life. Lia has an out of body experience and sees everything happening around her.

 When she gets to the hospital, her spirit finds Aiden. She doesn't realize that he is the boy she didn't like at first meet at the haunted house. He convinces her to go back to her body. 

Lia does not cope well with the loss of her sister. Her therapist prescribed her pills. With Chelsea being gone, the monster activity has increased and has her teetering on the edge of survival. She survived and they want her back.

But you must read the book to find out if the monsters conquer Lia and find out what happened to Aiden.

Butterfly's Big Adventure

This book tells the story of how butterfly's Momma always told her bed time stories of different places in the World. When Kayleigh grew up, she decides to go visit all those places Momma told her about. Butterfly goes on a remarkable journey before she finally returns home to Momma. It is a very fun and educational book filled with beautiful illustrations!
