This book tells the story of a man named Hershel. He and his brother Joe were raised by their grandma. Their dad passes away and their mom was unable to care for them. Joe turned out fine. Hershel however was homeschooled and never learned about real life or even women.
Hershel never left his grandma after he grew up. He took good care of her every day. One day she passed away n Hershel’s life had a major changed. His grandma left Joe $17,000 and her house. She left Hershel $700 and her car. She left instructions for Hershel to drive across county from Missouri and take her ashes to California.
Right off the bat Hershel trust the first guy he meets that needs a ride. He stole Hershel’s car and the $700 from his grandma. He left Hershel his grandmas ashes and empty wallet.
Hershel then meets a woman named Sally who also got dumped on the side of the road going to a different part of California than Hershel. So they decide to travel the world together.
I do recommend this book. The ending was awesome and it was my favorite part of the book. I loved it.
