This book starts of telling how Arekel was away from her
village in the mountains, saw the beast called Valkimpre, and started running
from it. A man, that doesn’t appear to be good, saves her. The villagers say the beast has never lost one
and will not stop until he has her. They kick our out of the village to keep
the beast from coming in to take any woman in search for her. The man finds her
and keeps her. He won’t let the beast kill her since she is the “chosen one.” I
shall say no more though; I don’t want to give the whole story away!
I loved this book! I had no intention of reading it all in
one sitting! As soon as I started reading it, I could not stop. I flipped page
after page, and before I knew it, I was done! This book is very descriptive,
well written, and I really enjoyed it! It reminds me of Beauty & The Beast
when The Beast lets Bell out of the tower and tells her she can’t go into
certain parts of the room and she must never leave because she is his now. I
highly recommend this book to everyone looking for a sweet supernatural tale!
